What is IP.Tree?

IP.Tree is a simple way to plan and make your network accessible and organized.

Current technology enables many devices to be directly connected to the network. The range is almost endless - not just a PC but, for example, printers to wireless access points, IP based phones to Network Storage Devices - the list goes on.
The number of devices available increases daily but the number of IP numbers are limited. If it is your intention to install a network, a lack of planning can give a serious headache. IP.Tree will guide you through the planning of the IP distribution in a simple and efficient way so that your organization is ready for business.
IP.Tree will assign each designated device within predetermined ranges authorization, to detect any potential conflicts, and will also allow to rearrange numbers if required. Once you are satisfied with your distribution, you will be able to present it in which ever way is suitable to you - printing or perhaps exporting to files in a suitable format to, for example, Word or Excel so it is readily accessible and user friendly.
Once you have established your plan, IP.Tree will enable you to document it and add any additional information to your data base. This will facilitate the collation of your policy to existing network devices.

Why IP.Tree?

* Saves time -It will save you time - instead of configuring your network machine by machine to find the errors later, it can be planned and distributed as standard in advance.

* Reduces complexity - It makes life easier by simplifying matters. The more complex your operation is, the more benefit you will get from IP.Tree as it will enable to access your documentation and distribution list at a glance.

IP.Tree

The idea is that from your Windows XP or Vista workstation or server, you can plan and document as many networks or subnets as you want. For each network, you can assign "ranges" where you will group devices by type (if you don't want to organize your network like this, simply enter a single range for all). Finally, inside each range, you will enter the IP and main data of each device on the network. The system will warn you if some devices use the same IP, or if different ranges overlap.
Then you can print your data, or export it to the most common formats, so you can file your information for later use (like network maintenance).

How IP.Tree helps?

* Design your network - You have the task to design a network from scratch. Using IP.Tree, organize your network IP distribution in advance, to make it last for a long time.

* Organize your inherited network - You received a bunch of LANs poorly designed and worst documented. With IP.Tree, scan and document what you have, and develop a plan for consolidating and expanding.

* Verify and audit the network - Store information about your customer's networks. Using IP.Tree, easily find conflicts and advice on a better organization.
