When you press this button, a full scan of the current network will take place.
First, select a Network node or a Range node in your Tree, then press the button. Beware, the process will take several minutes!

When the scanning process finishes, you will see the list of IP identified in the network as shown above.
The information obtained about each device will depend on your Global Configuration. If you have NMAP installed and set, you might obtain better information, otherwise these list will show devices that answered a PING petition only. If the device has a device name, that means that the device is in the NETBIOS list. If not, the device couldn't be identified.
A device can have the PING response deactivated either by a setup option or by a Firewall. In either case, the device may not appear automatically in this list.
The Send To button allows you to export the list.
The Load Tree button adds the list of devices to the tree, under the selected network. The device type selected by default will be a PC type (if the device is not really a PC you have to enter the device data and change it).
