Network name: this is the name of the selected network.

Range name: enter here a descriptive name for this range.

Lowest IP: enter the last three digits of the lowest possible IP number for this IP range.

Highest IP: enter the last three digits of the highest possible IP number for this IP range.

Note: if you don't want to use ranges, you have to enter at least one anyway; enter one using a lowest IP of zero, and a highest IP of 255.

Foreground and Background colors: you can set the foreground and background colors of each range with all its devices. This can be used as a simple visual aid, or even as guide to use the same colors for the cables of your physical network (So when you check your network later, you can easily know to what kind of device each cable belongs to).

View Devices: each range may contain devices. By pressing this button you can see the devices for the current IP range, out of the tree.

When you press "Save", you will receive a warning if the range overlaps with another one.
